Associate Head Coach

Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA – (Jan 2020 - present)

Despite only being founded in 2011, Liberty Field Hockey is one of the NCAA’s top teams, winning Big East Championships in 2021 and 2022, regular season titles in 2021, 2022, and 2023, and competing in the 2021 national championship game.

Key duties include recruiting, practice design & periodization, performance analysis, and specialist goalkeeping and dragflicking coaching. I was appointed as an Assistant Coach in January 2020, and was promoted to Associate Head Coach in January 2024. My staff bio can be found here.

U16 WNT Assistant Coach

USA Field Hockey – (October 2023 - present)

Key duties include selection, practice design, and performance analysis. On the 2024 tour to the Netherlands, I primarily coached the goalkeeper and forward position groups and led the circle attack and pressing phases. The team won three games out of four, defeating the Germany and Belgium U15 teams.

Coach Educator & Coach

USA Field Hockey – (Apr 2017 - present)

Deliver the national governing body's Level 1 & 2 coach education courses nationwide. I have also coached in the Olympic development pipeline at the Junior Nexus Championships (U16, 2022) and at regional high-performance centers in Richmond and Norfolk, VA (2018, 2019).

Coaching Director

Focus Field Hockey, Williamsburg, VA – (Apr 2017 - Jan 2020)

Coached more than 50 NCAA recruits and helped quadruple membership in less than three years, returning the club to national prominence. Administrative roles included managing site directors across four cities, coach education, mental training and character development, website and registration management, video analysis and social media.

Varsity Head Coach

The Covenant School, Charlottesville, VA – (Aug 2017-Nov 2019)

Ran a successful VISAA Division II varsity program regularly competing for state championships (runners-up in 2017, semi-finalists in 2018) and the Blue Ridge Conference (winners in 2018 and 2019, coach of the year both seasons).
